Wildflowers
The Gravity Discovery Centre is located on DEC (formerly CLAM) land and the surrounding bush land have been kept untouched and in their original state. Nothing has changed for thousands of years. As a result, we have the most amazing variety of fauna and flora and are internationally recognised as a biodiversity hot spot.
The wildflowers delight us with a spectacular display of colour every spring, when our whole bush just seems to spring to live.
However, there are the most beautiful and delicate plants and animals to be found all year around. We have guided bush tucker walks available (bookings essential), as well as biodiversity walks throughout the seasons.
Our bushwalks range from 1 to 2 km and are clearly marked and easy to walk. Please register at reception before you set off. A map is available as well.
