The GDC Night Safaris are back!  An adventure for the whole family. Come to the GDC for the day, enjoy a yummy pasta meal at 5pm, stalk nocturnal animals with our guides from 6pm and then finish the evening with stargazing from 7pm to 9pm.

Bring torches, suitable footwear, warm clothing as well as wet weather gear if needed.

Costs: $64 adults, $56 seniors, $36 children (5 to16 years), or $186 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. Children 4 years and under are free.

Rockets, planes and blimps

Ever wanted to launch a rocket into space? Build your own super plane? Be pilot of a blimp? Come to the Gravity Discovery Centre to discover all of these things and more. We will investigate what sort of rockets do go into space and why. You will take part in a real rocket launch. And make the best ever paper plane.

If that’s not enough then you’ll be able to climb the most leaning tower in the world and drop water balloons from the top, view a model black hole in action, and race solar powered cars on our very own race-track.
