Hon. Bill Marmion was appointed minister of Science and Innovation after the timely resignation of Troy Buswell. Mr Marmion decided to revisit the GDC’s funding situation to find altrenative solutions. It seems he did and the Centre may not have to close!  This is a great outcome for the Australian community, school students, as well as Western Australia’s reputiation within the international science community!
